Justin graduated from RMIT University with Distinction in Clinical Chiropractic and has previously worked at clinics in Docklands and St. Kilda.
He has a particular interest in:
Justin uses a decompression table/machine to treat suffering patients.
After spending his childhood in country Victoria, Justin ventured to the big city of Melbourne to start a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Monash University. Upon completing the degree, Justin knew he wanted to help people and wanted to be involved in healthcare. After a visit to local Sale Chiropractic Rami Tawil (now part of the Wellbeing team), Justin was inspired and decided he wanted to pursue a career in the energetic and patient based field that is Chiropractic.
Somewhat of a sports fanatic, Justin is always up for a chat about whatever sport you’re interested in. AFL, UFC, cricket, soccer, NFL and athletics are his favourites. He himself has played professional Aussie Rules football, high level cricket and dabbled in basketball and soccer socially. Justin attends the gym regularly to keep fit and enjoys snowboarding and running whenever he gets the chance, especially a Saturday morning ‘park run’. In 2016 Justin suffered an ACL knee injury which resulted in surgery and a long rehabilitation process, however he sees the silver lining and says he now understands the difficulties of rehabilitation and what you really need to do to get strong and stay injury free. Justin’s curiosity leads him to being a lifelong learner. He regularly attends seminars hosted by his idols who are some of the most respected researchers in the chiropractic profession, asking numerous questions to make sure he fully understands the content and complexities of the human body. He has also volunteered his time at community clinics around Melbourne, most recently in Collingwood and Rosebud. These experiences have given Justin confidence in helping many different people.
Justin has also worked with some athletes including: an Australian Commonwealth games track competitor, skiers, snowboarders, a national level hockey player, a VFL player, a professional golfer, a women’s Aussie rules footballer, many mens Aussie rules footballer and a professional sprinter!
Justin is currently half way through his sports chiropractic qualification in which he has already completed the upper extremity model. He is a member of the CAA (Chiropractors Association of Australia), ACA (Australian Chiropractors Association), Sports Chiropractic Australia (SCA), ICCSP (International Federation of Sports Chiropractic) and Fédération Internationale de Chiropratique du Sport (FICS). When he has time to unwind Justin enjoys playing with his pomeranian dog Blacky, playing video games with friends or learning something new. Most recently he learnt about a ‘plant-based diet’, (through the book How Not To Die) which he has been trialling for a year now.
